12 DAY PHOTO SAFARI, NORTHERN CIRCUIT

12 days, CODE TZ-PHO-12

Our 12-day Photo Safari specifically includes the most important national parks of the Northern Circuit: the Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Tarangire National Park and Arusha National Park.

This specific African safari and travel itinerary has been designed for photographers. Together with our very experienced photoguide, Arjan Mulder, we will explore the national parks of Tanzania.

In this trip we make sure each photographer is in the best position, at the right moment, with the right light, every time. And when that moments comes we ensure that there is not someone else standing in front of you! Each photographer will be guaranteed a dedicated row/window seat on each game drive to ensure you have the optimum access to every photographic opportunity.

We allow the photographers to spend as much time as they need to get the shots they desire. Decisions on which locations to visit and how long to stay at each site will be made by the photographers on each safari. Each photographer will get personalised support from Arjan, both out on game drives and back at the lodges through a series of informal workshops. Importantly, each safari will involve as much photographic time as possible.

Our photo safaris are not reserved for experienced and skilled photographers. Anyone who wants to travel to Africa and return with a collection of rewarding and memorable photographs will get a great deal from our safaris. We spend as much time in the national parks as possible and minimize the time to travel.

This unforgettable African safari will take you to the Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania's most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a shallow but huge soda lake, located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley's western escarpment. This park is famous for its tree-climbing lions.

The next day we drive to Tarangire National Park, which features some of the greatest concentration of game in Tanzania - second only to the Ngorongoro Crater - but less crowded and unspoiled - possessing a wild and unkempt beauty. After that, we go to the Ngorongoro Crater and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, featuring one of the highest concentrations of game and arguably the densest population of predators and carnivores in Africa.

This safari will also take you to the Serengeti National Park, a massive wilderness of 14500 square km, where every day brings a new landscape and a new adventure. After this, we visit Arusha National Park, very different to the other National Parks in the area, blessed with fantastic scenery, including Mount Meru, the second highest peak of Tanzania. On a clear day, Mount Kilimanjaro can be seen from the Park also.
